Beastman Ikkaku by Drimr Beastman Ikkaku by Drimr
A crossover with Gurren Lagann. :meow:

He's wearing Viral's clothes because... they have the same voice actor? Yep, that's the only connection I need.
Sorry, I just love silly crossovers :3

I also wanted to draw Viral in Ikkaku's clothes, but this took so damn long x.x ...so, maybe tomorrow.
I can't believe I drew Ikkaku without Yumichika! Will have to make up for it later :3

I never cared for Gureen Lagaan and stopped watching after the first episode, and I feel like his crotch here is a bit..erm...overemphasized. (Maybe take those two darker lines down just a tiny bit?...) I do however love Ikkaku and here he actually looks pretty sexy, and the painted style is just wonderful. There's just feelings painting portrays that sometimes nothing else can. I love the giant scarf thingie and the way it flows.

Oh, true, I may have overdone it a bit, sorry about that! ^^
I didn't like the anime as much either but I somehow watched it through the end and it wasn't that bad, I'm starting to like it a lot more in retrospective. :3
Also, thanks a lot! :)

Don't apologize! Your work is wonderful! My modesty instinct just kinda kicked in.

Nope, it's okay, I actually thought the same thing after looking back at it. I'm just not a fan of repainting my works after I've uplouded them. Due to laziness. ^^

I feel you on the laziness part. Before I made my new year's resolution, I had never completed a single drawing. Unless they were doodles that I finished while doodling them, like sitting in class. If it was a detailed drawing, I never finished them. People say "show me your art!" And everything's like half done rough sketches and they have no idea what the picture's supposed to be haha.

Oh, yea! I've got like tons of unfinished rough sketches and they're everywhere, not good enough to show to anyone, so they're just flooding my desk. It's really hard to get myself to draw something properly, and when I do, I don't feel like ever touching it again when it's finished. XD Probably the reason why there are mistakes so often in my drawings; I'm betting on learning not to make any mistakes eventually though. Which may be kinda naive.

Seriously. Once it's done I'm like "ain't no way that's getting fixed again". I'm such a perfectionist that it takes me forever to get my art done because I have to keep redoing like every single line. So once I'm done, I'm done. Once I stop working on a piece of art, it never gets picked up again. But this year that changes!!! Mostly because now I have a place to post my art that it can be appreciated so I actually feel motivated to finish my art for the first time ever. Yes if you draw them only once and don't feel like editing, after a while you'll get used to drawing better and better, because you'll look at the mistakes when it's done and remember that next time. Then you'll make those mistakes less and less. Least that should be how it works. ;)
